average hotel

Hotel is small. There is NO air conditioning. On busy road so it is hard to have windows open at night. Staff was very plesant. Rooms were clean. Carpet in halls (dingy) but there was new laminate wood floors in the guest room we were in. Simple rooms, but ample space with 3 kids! Breakfast was french bread & croissants with coffee or tea. Easy to get to from airport and the sites.

Take RER train from CDG airport to Guare De’Este (this was nonstop). Hotel is 2 blocks away. We bought metro passes for the 3 full days we were in Paris. A museum pass is the way to go if you have kids as most sites do not charge for children under 18 w/a museum pass. Get to Notre Dame or the Catacombs at least 1/2 hour prior to opening time- the lines were very long otherwise. We walked from the third floor down of the Eifle Tower to burn off energy.

Hotel worth checking

Westayed at this hote last week July 09. Family room and for the price I thought it was good value. the rom was spacious and one criticism of the hotel I have is it had no air conditioning. This made the room stuffy at night and the street noise prevented the opening of a window. However it is beside the Metro and a few minutes from central Paris . It served our purpose well because we got up early and arrived back late.

Use the Metro.

Not Impressed

This hotel is further away from the train station than anticipated. It is in a somewhat rough looking neighborhood and was not easy to find. The staff was great to help. The room was comfortable but the bathroom was pretty outdated and there was mold growing on the tiles. And every review about the towels is correct, they are the size of hand towels.
