Forget About It
I can’t, in good conscience recommend this hotel to anybody. It’s old, it’s rundown, the ceiling as well as the furniture are stained, the bed spread was cigarette burned and parts of the floor felt like only the carpet was keeping you from stepping right through. The swimming pool was given up on years ago. It’s cracked and there’s a couple of feet of brown water and leaves in the deep end. It won’t be long before this hotel is given up on as well. What a dump!
Traveller's tip on dining
We were not anxious to return to the Admiral’s Ocean Inn so we had a very nice late dinner at the Dockside restaurant in Belfast. The following morning, anxious to depart the Admiral’s Ocean Inn we had a very good early breakfast at Dudley’s Diner in Belfast.

Will never go back, the rooms were dirty, floor had mold growing out of it, bugs in the bed
The room was very dirty, the one bed had bugs in it, floor had mold grow in it, air condit unit had so much dirt on it wouldn’t work, Sheet on bed had big ripes in them. After taking a shower you still felt dirty. Bedspreads had all kinds of stains on them. Very Very Dirty.

it was okay
It was a good deal for a last minute trip. It was off season for them, so it wasn’t in the best of cleanliness (it had cobwebs in the room)
Traveller's tip on local attractions
When in the area, you MUST check out ’Ollie’s’ it’s a local pub, with the best chili I think I’ve ever had. Great food, amazing selection of beer, and wonderful atmosphere!
