Will Stay Here Again
The hotel and staff were excellent. Area was secure and a nice neighborhood surrounded the hotel. It was close proximity to many eateries and shopping areas easily accessible by walking. It was also a 5 minute cab ride from the Grand Central Station. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and I will stay here on my next visit.

Quiet and comfortable
A very comfortable hotel in a very quiet location in central Amsterdam. Highly recommended as a base for exploring the City.

A nice little hotel
This hotel is a little pricey for a three star, but Amsterdam is expensive and given that, it would seem to be good value for Amsterdam. The hotel is clean, comfortable and in a nice, quiet and safe area. The furnishings pretty much what you’d expect from a Mercure. It’s very close to the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh museum (highly recommended) but is around a twenty minute walk from the main shopping areas, canal boat cruises, red light district etc. The tram is a two minute walk away if you are so inclined, but we found Amsterdam to be walkable so didn’t bother with public transport.
