Understand that this is a noisey, youth hostel!
We wanted quiet, off the beaten path and this place has space and beauty! BUT, the only place to stay out of the rain was filled with loud, smoking travelers.....and then the techno music started!! It filled every acre of the place with noise. They offered to move us farther away but you could not escape the noise. We checked out at 6:00 after just 3 hours and had to pay for the room!

Come with a group and book the whole place and it would be great! If you are young and want to meet other travelers.....excellent choice!

Great place
Really nice place to stay with absolutely great local staff who make you feel very much at home. The food is great as well
Traveller's tip on recreational activities
If you like scuba diving then we would highly recommend nearby Aqua-trek for their shark dive in Beqa Lagoon. Really professional and great fun

Perfect Eco Experience
The huts (’bure-s’) are very cute. The hotel garden is fantastic. Ideal for young people, couples in particular. Nature lovers will love it too. Take kayak and explore the shore. The lagoon and surrounding wild beaches are exceptional. If offered, take the island trip, organized by the resort. This was my best travel experience ever. Snorkeling in the middle of the big ocean, deep sea fishing, and pilot-whales were superb. Nature lovers will absolutely love it. Locals are closely involved in running the hotel, and they may share some interesting stories about local customs (e.g., will share kava with you). Nevertheless, stay away of big towns, Suva and Nadi. Dirty, and very hectic. The Mango Bay is the place to be.
