I like this chain!
Value for money. We had a very difficult time finding this hotel, since it was far outside Chartres, but once we got there it was so comfortable! I loved the beds and the comforters. We were really tired and went to sleep right away--as soon as our heads hit the pillow! Best of all, though, was the young and very nice hotel clerk who had HOT croissants and strong, delicious coffee waiting for us when we got up very early the next morning. He also drew us an accurate and very helpful map showing us how to get to our next destination. This young man left a positive and lasting impression on us!

Clean Convenient Cost effective
We stayed 5 nights at the Kyriad and were well satisfied. we weren’t looking for a charming B&B but a clean and well appointed place to rest after a full day of touring and taking in what Chartre has to offer. It was set apart from the town and had very good secure free parking. It also provided free wifi connection. The room was modern and exactly as portrayed in the pictures. The shower was space age and ours worked well in giving a sensory shower but not a lot of room to move inside. Breakfast was included in the price which made the Kyriad even better economically. Where the hotel is let down is in its restaurant. The evening meal was expensive and didn’t live up to the description on the menu. We only used it once - that was enough. Service was OK and although we only spoke English we were able to get by with the staff. Again the restaurant was an exception and some French is essential to get what you want. We would stay here again, it was what we wanted, a clean and convenient place to rest up after a busy day. If I wanted atmosphere and charm I would make another choice.
Yes stay here if you are driving and want free safe parking, a good internet wifi connection and a clean comfortable room. You will meet lots of road based tourists and lots of business and trade types. this is a good stopover without too many inconveniences.

Once found a real gem
Took us over an hour to find but once located we could not fault the hotel. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, there is even a tea tray with biscuits!! We found the staff very helpful and very pleasant. We had a meal in the restaurant and the food was excellent as were the wines. We would defintely make our stop off in France again at this hotel.
