Would use this hotel again for future visits to Seoul
Ideally situated on airport express bus route, (it stops at the hotel entrance). Seodemun Metro station within 50 metres of hotel makes traveling around extremely easy. Having a restaurant and a shop on the ground floor means you do not have to go far for food or provisions. It was a pleasure to stay at the Vabien II, but a new skyscraper is under construction very close by and this will cause a noise and dust problems for the foreseeable future
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
Purchase a Metro card for use on the underground and some buses - it is cheap, easily topped up and means you can go anywhere pretty easily.

Excellent location
The location is amazing you have tube exits on the side of the property as well as another down the road. Airport bus stop is right outside the property. Theres Paris Baguette 2 seconds down from the property to get snacks or great fresh bakery items. Lotte Shopping mall and Myung-Dong is about 15 minutes walk. The location is seriously amazing for traffic to/fro and plenty of taxis. There are plenty of buses stopping right outside the property incase you didnt want to take taxis. There is 7/11 24hr supermarket on the ground floor of the property, extremely handy ! The property itself has washing machine/dryer, all kitchen amenities so its fantastic and very very convenient. I prefer serviced apartments to hotel rooms because I have to freedom to bring food and eat as if in my own home. Bathroom was clean. Only thing that annoyed me was the cleaning lady, she only cleans upto midday and so if you dont let her clean during early morning (because I was sleeping-in on my vacation) then your room wont get cleaned til next day.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Take the airport bus from Incheon Airport direct to the property. Make sure you tell the driver to inform you where to get off. Ive seen foreign tourists get off in the wrong spot because they hadnt informed the driver.

Home away from home
Overall, the hotel is definitely value for money with decent-sized rooms equipped with all the electrical appliances and necessities needed. Plus points - great location, easy access to public transport and a short distance away from the maddening shopping crowds of Myeong-Dong. Major gripe was the receptionists who were cold, unfriendly and unwelcoming - and this is not due to their lack of English communication skills. In contrast, the housekeeping staff ( the "Ajummas") were very nice and polite which made our stay pleasant. Perhaps the hotel should consider allowing the housekeeping staff to man the reception instead.
Consider buying the buckwheat-filled head pillows from Namdaemun market (which makes great souveniers from your trip) as the pillows provided by the hotel are as flat as pancakes.
