Excellent Location
Great area for walking and carriage rides, not far from Graceland or Tunica.

Great Time
My wife and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Select for seven nights. The room was very clean and comfortable. We found the staff to be extremely helpful at all times and nothing was too much trouble for them, from answering simple tourest type questions to ensuring a taxi was provided at five minutes notice. Breakfast was served in a very nice resterant and wether we chose from the menu or the buffet the food was always hot and very tasty. Again, the staff were very friendly and there was no waiting around to be served.
With Beale Street only two blocks away there is always pleanty to do in the evenings. The tram routes are within five minutes walk of the hote and this easy to use system will take you all over Memphis including Sun Studios and the Missisippi River Steam Boats, Gracelands is about 15 minutes taxi ride away, All in all there is a large variety of attractions and always something to do nearby.

Good hotel in a good location
This hotel is situated in a very good position for visiting Beale Street music bars, Gracelands, the Civil Rights museum, the Mississippi River and the trolley bus is nearby. The staff were helpful and gave us complimentary breakfast vouchers. The room was big and the king size bed was huge!
Beale Street live music bars eg BB Kings and the Blues Hall. The STAX music museum Memphis give a very good insight into the local community and the music past and present. The Civil Rights Museum is located in the Lorraine Motel where Matrin Luther King was assassinated and really can’t be missed, closed on a Sunday
