Ocean scent
This is the best smelling hotel I have ever been in. I have no idea how they do it but everything smelled great, no doubt helped by the great beeze that comes off the ocean. We spent a night in that amazing Heavenly bed with the door to our spacious ocean view balcony open to get the breeze and hear the ocean. Staff was attentive, helpful, and so friendly. It is a bit out of the way from the rest of Macau’s sites and sounds and that is likley a bonus if you want to relax. Walk 15 minutes down the beach to Fernando’s and order the cod with garlic too. A great experience

Not what I excpected
The hotel is dated and in need of a make over. The rates for this hotel are high. You can find superior hotels in the heart of Macau for the same money or even less. The place is also full of screaming kids on vacation so if you are looking for a relaxing getaway this is not the place. The entertainment and food where also mediocre making this a disappointing trip.
Traveller's tip on nightlife
This hotel is boring. Macau is a mini Las Vegas. Stay in the heart of the city where all of the casinos, restaurants, and historical sights are.

I thought the hotel was a little dated and very overpriced.
