OK, great location
Clean room. Comfortable bed but noisy because our room window was averlooking a roof with the ventilation system.

Waterfront experience
We have stayed in downtown Portland at several different hotels... this time after searching the internet, we found good rates at the Downtown Waterfront Marriott, so we gave it a try.. The experience was wonderful.. they provided special security for our car... gave us a great room with a view of the river... and breakfast, which was included, was "off the menu" at their best restaurant (not your typical three types of cereal and orange juice).. The location is a bit of a walk to some areas, however the property sits 2 blocks from the streetcar stop that takes you all the way to NW Portland for free... This all came at a price that was better than any of our standard hotels... we have now found our new "home" when visiting Portland.

Nice hotel
Excellent service and catering for the meetings. The room was not as nice as most Marriott hotels I have visited before.
