Overall good Hotel

The room was nice and the service was also good. The bed left a little to be desired. Did not get real good sleep on the bed and the pillows were very large and hard. The resturant (coffee shop) was clean the service was good, however the waiter was in a very big hurry to get us out of there so he could go home.

Not bad Not the Ritz

This was a good, basic, hotel. It is fine for a solo business traveler or, probably, for a family assuming expectations are not too high and the hotel is not the "destination."

Functional, nothing special

I was in Fresno overnight for a high school athetic event that had a lot of accomodations booked up. The Picadilly Inn was available, although in a primarily strip mall commercial area not very close to the event site. The Inn was clean and seemed well maintained, the room was basic. Two complaints: the bed was very hard and my back was sore for several days afterward, and the floor in the room was disturbingly flexible and made a LOT of noise just walking around. It must have been very annoying for the occupant of the room below mine.

Excellent location and service for flying out of FAT

The room was very nice and very large. When I first walked into the room, it had a musty smell to it so I called the desk. They sent someone to spray and disinfect every inch of the room. The hotel staff were Excellent and they were easy to talk to and get directions to local eating establishments. They even printed out the directions to each one and I sure appreciated there help. The hotel shuttle was fast and the driver was very courteous and helpful. I was VERY pleased with my stay and will stay there again when I fly out of Fresno Yosemite Air Terminal (FAT).

I loved that fact that I could leave my car in their hotel parking lot and not have to pay for parking at FAT. It saved me a lot of money and I was able to get a good nights sleep before leaving on United Airlines at 6:00am.

Ouiet and very fast service. Exceptionally nice staff.Room was spotless, wish there were more cable channels!!Comfy bed.

Pretty good overall

Room was very clean and well maintained. Staff was very helpful and nice. Only down side I could see is that they had an old 27" CRT TV. A flat screen LCD upgrade would have been nice.

very convenient hotel

The Piccadilly Inn Airport Hotel is extremely convenient to the Fresno airport (within a short walking distance/across the street). Despite this, it was a quiet and well-maintained room. The pool was a wonderful oasis. The restaurant had great customer service. Overall a very nice hotel at a reasonable price in an extremely convenient location.

Very accomodating

The hotel seemed a little dated but overall clean.

We were flying out from FAT to leave on vacation. The Picadilly Inn was a very convenient place to stay because is is so close to the airport. The complimentary shuttle to the airport was also great!

A good motel to stay

close, close, close to the airport

This is a very comfortable hotel with spacious rooms and patio doors that open onto a center courtyard that contains a large swimming pool with plenty of room to swim. We asked for the shuttle service to the airport, which was provided on an "on call" basis. However, we were surprised to see that if we walked across the back parking lot, we were within a few hundred yards of the terminal. We could easily have walked! We did not see any restaurants within walking distance (although the terminal might have been an option) and the hotel restaurant (maintained at refrigerator temperatures) does not have a vegetarian option on the menu. However, we were provided with a very nice pasta and vegetable dish that tasted delicious. We would happily stay at the Piccadilly again.

Nice airport hotel

We came in late and were happy to find that the hotel restaurant was still serving food. The service and the food was very good. The hotel was bright and clean. People were helpful and friendly. It does not have an elevator so keep that in mind if carrying a heavy suitcase. I would recommend this hotel.

Can’t wait to go back

The location of the hotel was perfect, right near the airport. The staff was great. I was worth every penny!!!

Great Place!

My wife, granddaughter and I came to Fresno for a Barbershop Harmony Convention. Piccadilly Inn was just outside the airport and only a couple of miles from Rooseveldt High School. We didn’t expect the luxury we received at a modest price! Great room, beautiful pool and grounds, good location near fast food, coffee shops and restaurants of all kinds. We’ll go there again.

This hotel was offering 30% off if I stayed at least three nights. This allowed me to upgrade from a cheaper hotels and I payed less. What I disliked was the floor was very noisy with each step we took (and I’m slim) and that they don’t offer free continental breakfast.

Needs updating badly

It was probably a upscale hotel in it’s time but that was about 10 years ago. It has been kept clean, but the restaurant, exercise room, and rooms themselves are dated. There are nicer, newer hotels very close to this one. The price should be very low for this one. Service was lackluster, I had to beg for help with our bags.

Traveller's tip for business travellers

Right next to the airport, but as I said, many others to choose from in the area that Expedia could hook you up with.

Hotel could use a little upgrading.

Not a bad place, the staff was very nice, but it’s a little worn out. Floors on the second floor were kind of squeaky. The fitness center left a lot to be desired. From all my visits to Fresno. hotels there are very expensive for the amenities they provide and for city of this size and attractions.

Fresno’s Most Convenient Hotel

Five years ago I discovered the Piccadilly Airport Hotel by accident. Since then whenever I’ve been in Fresno I’ve chosen the Piccadilly for it’s comfort, convenience and value. No need to wait for the airport shuttle as there’s always someone available for the 3-minute hop across the street. The food’s also good, whether in the bar, the dining room or the coffee shop. Negatives? Just one: no elevator, so if you’re on the second floor pack light.
