Charming and Clean Hotel
I think this hotel does very well by its customers. The rooms, albeit small, are well decorated and offer nice amenities. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast is wonderful.
Traveller's tip for business travellers
If you are looking for a cost effective place and you are staying 1 or 2 nights max, this is a good option. Proximity to Hauptbanhof makes it a great option especially if you don’t have a vehicle. Parking is not convenient if you do have a vehicle.

Great Value
Very good location: easy walking distance from the main station and the cathedral. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel is comfortable and modern in design. This hotel is very good value for money. I hope to return to Cologne and stay there again.
Traveller's tip on dining
Eat at a brew pub (brauhaus). They are full of atmosphere and friendly people, and the food is always interesting. Drink the local beer: kölsch.

Can’t fault it
The hostel is well located only 5 mins walk from the Dom. The rooms are clean and modern. The rooms do vary in size as the hotel has an odd layout. Some rooms are quite tight compared to others. If you get a small one, perhaps ask to change to a larger room. The breakfast is very good and staff are courteous and helpful. Great hotel at a very reasonable price.
Ask for a larger room if its a bit small, as come is all different shapes and sizes (and all cost the same). Also might be a lot quieter on the side facing away from the busy street.
