Outstanding Heated Indoor Pool
I had my three oldest grandchildren with me and they absolutely fell in love with the indoor heated swimming pool. No matter how tired they were when we got back to our room they just had to go down to the pool. The complimentary breakfast in their restaurant was very good. They do, however, need a complimentary breakfast for the children.

Ignore the Older Posts, Things Have Changed!
I was a bit concerned about the Ramada, Altoona, PA because of some older posts, but you can ignore those, as things have changed for the better. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The complimentary breakfast in the mornings served in the hotel restaurant was great, much better than what’s served in most hotels. The front desk staff was very knowledgable, friendly, and helped answer any questions I had during my stay. The pool area is nice, and the setting for the restaurants is great! The AA Binghamton Mets were in town to play the Altoona Curve, and stayed at the Ramada, but you wouldn’t have known they were there except for the bus in the parking lot. The place was extremely quiet, which is very important to me when I am looking for a place to stay when I travel. I greatly appreciated that! I would definately consider staying at the Ramada again in my future trips to Altoona. Ignore some of the older, bad reviews, they’re not the case anymore!
