Not exactly by the sea
This was not a bad hotel, but it wasn’t great either. I stayed there with my family in August which is considered very high season. The 4-star rating is wishful thinking. It was more like 3-star. The rooms were small, bathrooms smaller, It is not that close to the beach - it is a 5-minute walk at the least. Very brief window for breakfast. There are certainly 4-star amenities, but, the overall condition of the hotel was dated. Another huge drawback was parking and location. The location was a very busy street and you could park your car in their lot, but could only access it at the end of your stay. You are limited to walking and taking public transportation. There is also limited staff to help. Most of the hotels I saw in this town were the same - nothing extraordinary. Next time we will try a resort like La Meridiana.

if you want an expensive 2 star - stay here
The room was really like an unloved one star and the rest of the hotel a two. There are far nicer B&Bs around for 25% of the price - hyper unromantic - but the air con worked - amazingly
