What a pity
Hotel has a fantastic location and lake view but it is very tired and our room was damp. Breakfast was just ok. Reception staff were excellent and very helpful. I hope they spend some serious money on the place very soon.

Needs a facelift
This hotel has a great location, but needs a faceleift. I selected it because of parking and AC. We did get parking, but it is not located at this hotel. AC would not work because it was not turned on yet and they regulate that so we were warm. Front desk females and lounge staff were wonderful help and that is all I will say. Constuction was in front of hotel as they set up for a May Day event so rooms with a view were noisey.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
So close to Switzerland, see Lugano. Also, the Tourist Office to left of hotel is very helpful. The store next to it has great prices on silk items. Don’t miss out on the area behind the hotel, it has lots of great shopping and places to eat

1970’s
It was like stepping back in time. I was very disappointed as this is supposed to be a four star hotel. Rooms where very shabby and looked like they had not been updated since the seventies. All in all a very poor experience and one I will not be repeating.
