Best Western Henry II Hotel

Small rooms, but adequate for a short stay

I stayed at this hotel for one night with my wife. The staff was very curteous and helpful. They all spoke fluent English. As others have mentioned the rooms are very small and efficient. If you are staying for more than 2 nights you may want to consider another hotel. I was unable to connect to the WIFI internet with my NETbook. There is a MAC computer in the lobby available for use too - I was unable to get onto the internet with their computer either. I did not reserve a parking spot in the garage, but luckily there was parking on the street in front of the hotel. If you are travelling during high season you may want to reserve a parking spot. The continental breakfast was not included with the expedia booking. It was an extra 9Euros per person. There was also an additional charge for local taxes.

Traveller's tip on local attractions

I would definitely recommend the wine tasting & bike tour offered by one of the two bike shops. Make sure you book in advance as they have a tendency to run out of bikes.

Very quiet room

This was a clean and quiet hotel easily found enroute to the south of France. Car parking was extra but the garage was locked and secure. No evening meal facilities but continental breakfast was included. A short walk away from the hotel were loads of restaurants.Would recommend it to anyone.

Take euros instead of your credit card as it is charged and an extra amount is added for the currency conversion.

Well located , helpful staff

Located just outside city walls. Own car park (but additional charge)- limited space makes parking difficult for large cars. Staff were most helpful in making restaurant reservations.
