Lovely neighborhood
This hotel was located close to many sidewalk cafes and restaurants. It had all the basic necessities and if you’re looking for something reasonably priced, clean and close to places to eat, this is the place. It’s not walking distance to the Acropolis but we hired a taxi for $25 Euros an hour and had a lovely 3 hour tour of Athens.

not a nice neighborhood
Hotel was in a bad neighborhood, elevator was claustrophic, breakfast was ok, nothing special. Pick a better area in Athens to be closer to the Acropolis and nicer looking buildings. Run down area.

Very good basic hotel
The rooms were basic, but clean and adequately appointed. The air con was very welcome. A good value hotel not far from the centre of Athens
There’s a nice bar over the road and good restaurants in easy walking.
