One Night Only
Flew from Edinburgh to Pisa and arrived about 8.00pm. This was just a one night stop before going onto Florence for a week. The room was small but adequate for a night, however, the air-conditioning was totally inadequate as it can only be reduced to 20C. Even in October the weather can be lovely so rather an uncomfortable night trying to sleep. It must be horrendous trying to sleep when it is really hot.

Clean and modern but on the outskirts
We stayed at the AC Pisa for just one night. It is very new and done in quite a minimalist style. The rooms were a good size and the bathroom quite impressive with a glass one piece sink. We didn’t fancy eating in the hotel just because we wanted something more rustic but the staff guided us to an excellent restaurant just a 2-3 minute walk away. The only downside is that it was a little bit away from anything else. But we did still walk into town in the morning. Overall we were very happy with the standard of the hotel.
Come out of the hotel and turn left and walk for maybe 300 to 400 yards. There is a restaurant just before the junction which made fantastic and authentic Italian food. Magnifico.

Rude Staff, Horrible Location
The staff of AC Pisa were so rude (even for Italy), that our experience dealing with them cancelled out what otherwise might have been an enjoyable stay. We got out of there as soon as we could!
