Great Location and good value for money
Great Hotel, perfect location for exploring the many attractions. Very clean and friendly, although being in any Hotel in China its difficult to communicate as very little English is spoken if at all. The only downside is they tend to invade your space and hover around you, but I think thats just the way they are and you have to accept it. Excellent value for money. I was lucky to be upgraded to a suite which was superb! I travel alot and I have to say its the most comfortable Hotel bed I’ve ever slept in! The main hotel restaurant was Very good and perhaps the best meal I’d had whilst in Beijing. Although the menu is a little confusing as when translated into English it doesn’t mean the same thing! Staff were very friendly and attentive. Overall, I would highly recommend The Jade Garden and would probably stay there if I were to ever return to Beijing.

Close and comfortable
Hotel is in a very nice neighborhood only a few blocks from the Forbidden City and a few steps from numerous restaurants. The service was excellent and the price quite fair. We highly recommend it.

great located hotel
This being my first trip to Beijing, I had know idea where to stay. I saw the Jade garden hotel and liked the look of it. the hotel is located very clos to the main attractions of the forbidden city and the main shopping area at wangfujing street. the staff were all great and the hotel had the softest beds I have found in china. nice place for a short stay or as I did 10 days.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
the hotel breakfast is not the cheapest but it is very good. to safe a bit there is a lot of local places to eat just in the surrounding streets. in the evening the street food stalls open up on the street right across from the hotel. it s worth a look if not to eat but just to see the strange things you could eat
