a totally negative experience.
room make up no existence.water would not flow on bathroom sink and tube. tv never worked dispite requesting to be fixed. room curtains would not close and high potency outside lamp pointed towards room. no door locks.

Great, as always
I highly recommend this hotel if you are in Santo Domingo for business. I have been coming here for years. The hotel has all you need. You will see that the lobby has plenty of seating areas, a bar that serves drinlks and coffee, and is used by most people to meet and conduct business. Make sure you get the breakfast included in your room. Only negative is that you have to pay (nominal fee) for guest parking, more of a nusiance than anything else.

Best in SD so far
This is the third hotel we’ve stayed at in Santo Domingo over the past year and the best by far. Front desk staff spoke excellent English as did the staff in the indoor restaurant. The more casual patio restaurant did not have English speaking staff but was still enjoyable and did have English menus available by request. The best part about this hotel was that you never had to leave it to enjoy drinks and/or dinner. The lobby bar was full and attentive. The lobby restaurant was excellent fine dining and the patio restaurant had a nice selection and service as well. Rooms were clean and large with high speed internet available. As is common in the Dominican Republic, we did lose power a couple times but the generators kicked in within minutes. The only negative were the hundreds of birds that roost on the hotel and wake you up around 5 am each morning. That was definitely a negative! Overall, highly recommended and we’ll stay here again on our next trip.
