expensive for the quality

the room had no refrigrator or closet. It also did not have a phone or clock radio. The bathroom was small and the lighting was not that good if you read. I don’t always need a refrigerator, but when you stay in a "Resort" area you may need one if you buy local foods, etc. C&C

Dine at the tides. Go to fort ross and drive through the wine country.

Feel right at home in this wonderful inn! 4 star bed!

From the moment you walk through the gardens out front, then see the wonderful local art hanging inside, you feel right at home. A warm welcome, a tour, and access to the common room stocked with food and drinks is fantastic! The bed is extremely comfortable, and the antiques are nice touches. The little booklet they make and hand out to guests has a goldmine of information on the area. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to anyone.

Traveller's tip on local attractions

Be sure to drive up Hwy 1 towards Jenner and stop along the Sonoma Coast beaches. It is outstanding scenery. And, the Seaweed Cafe next door has exellent food and service.
