Small and shabby - no TV or phone
Tiny rooms with dated furnishings. We had to put the kids in the room with the large bed because the bathroom was connected to the other room and unless we didn’t plan on using it after they went to bed - it would have been a problem. No TV - which it advertised cable TV in every room. NO phone even. Normally wouldn’t care but it was during the Olympics and with little ones in bed by 8 - we didn’t have much to do but stare at the walls. Shower was a joke- tiny beyond belief. Blinds fell when trying to adjust them.

Disappointed
Our upstairs room was very small for the price--had to put our second suitcase in front of the door and then on the bed whenever we left the room. Carpet on stairs and in the room appeared to be old and dirty. Breakfast was wonderful and staff was friendly and helpful.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Beautiful little town--blooming petunias lined both sides of the entire main street--over 2 miles long. Venetian festival was in progress and well-attended.

Delightful
In the heart of downtown Charlevoix, the Inn at Grey Gables is warm and inviting. Inn keeper and staff are gracious and friendly. Service and food are good. Good value for the money.
