Aristote Hotel

Welcome to the Aristote hotel, situated at a stone's throw from Grand Place and the Gare du Midi train station in Brussels , in other words quite near the Place Rouppe . This family run Brussels hotel is housed in a 19th century building with a beautiful ivory facade, with nice views over the rooftops of the Capital of Europe . Many cafes and shops are located in the surrounding streets, as well as Anneessens underground station and tram no. 3, 55, 81, making travelling in town an easy job! The experienced management combined the modern comfort of the hotel with a tavern-restaurant-pizzeria complex based on a medieval theme inspired from Dante's famous work, La Divina Comedia , whilst the friendly staff will do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Excellent Location - Good valuer for the money

The hotel is actually a 2-star, not a 3-star. The location saves you quite a bit of money, as it is witin walking distance of City Centre. Breakfast is fine and the wireless internet did not work in my room; had to go to hall, but it is FREE. The city is pristine, and plenty of things for everybody. I went during winter festival, and it was BEAUTIFUL. If you like latin music, try Romantico at St.Catherine basilica. Metro and Buses are AWESOME

Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks

The train station is about 5 mins away and the ride from Airport is a CHEAP 2.90 EUR. However, if you are leaving for airport before 8am, take a cab, as there is a shaddy block next to station at night. During day is ok. The ride via taxi is about 60 EUR...

Clean, but no frills

Well situated half way between the Eurostar station (8-10 mins’ walk) and the Old Town. My single room with shower was very clean, but tiny; the ventilation was poor; the wireless internet didn’t work anywhere in the building; the television didn’t work as there was no aerial; the shower was either scalding hot or freezing cold. Still, as Brussels seems to be pretty expensive for hotels, this was still a reasonable place to spend a night.

The only thing I could say is as if there is no service, I barely can give it a 1 star rating
