Very creaky floors
Conveiniently located for the M1, decent Pub/Bar with a wide menu reasonably priced, Staff friendly and helpfull. As budjet hotels go, this one is above average. My resounding memory will be the incredibly creeky floors. It was bad for me walking on them, heven knows what it must have been like for the guest in the room below.

We had a lovely time in Barnsley, UK
This was our first trip overseas. We arrived at our hotel early and the wonderful people at The New Country Inns @ Bluebell Inn checked us into a room so we could start our adventure. They printed us off driving directions and sent us on our way. We were always greeted at the front desk no matter how late we would arrive back at the hotel, example 2am. They food was wonderful in the restraunt and reasonably priced. Our room was always very clean and well stocked. Plenty of towels, tea, coffee, cookies, hot chocolate. No phones or iorning boards in the room. I did notice you could get an iorning board from the main area if you needed one. Aslo a phone is in the lobby for making calls and the front desk takes down messages for their guests if someone calls for you. We would stay here again.
