Not imoressed in any way
This was hte wost hotel i have ever stayed in. It was loud, and often excessively all night. sometimes wasnt cleaned. People putting towels on sun beds from as early as 7 am. Over crowded altogther Costa del Council House
Traveller's tip on shopping
my son was ripped off, he had saved his money for a barcelona shirt. In Salou he was conned into thinking he got a bargan for $40, the man kept showing him things to make it official. I was with him. By the time we were back at the hotel, it was in shreds. I bought him a real one from camp nou. It’s one thing ripping folk off,which shouldnt happen, but to cheat a child out of his pocket money?

noisy,below average food.
Arrived to find reception blocked by groups od drunken sports students. checked in ok but students outside hotel until 4.00 am every morning keeping everyone awake. rooms clean and resonably comfortable, air conditioning only blows out hot air a cigerette fumes from adjoining rooms! Food appeared good but was always cold and lacking in variety. Dont book half board here, we were on the top (fifth floor) a little to the left of reception and could not sleep for the noise from students outsideon the street. They wer entertaining though! hotel ok for young who want to party all night and dont eat!
very difficlut to park. book somewhere quieter if you have kids!

Truly brilliant Hotel. Already trying to book for next year!
We are family of 2 adults, 2 children & had an excellent time. Pools were fab, entertainment was good but started late 9.30pm childrens disco then 10.30pm cabaret show. Food choices were amazing. Children had their own buffet area but were allowed to also pick from the main buffet too. The staff were extremely helpful & spoke all manner of langugues so no problems. portaventura theme park busy & queing in the heat was a drag so we got stamped & readmitted in the evening which was a lot better! cooler & longest queue about 15 mins. The do a cheaper evening only ticket so we’ll do that next time. The midnight firework/lake show was out amazing! get your tickets from hotel as saves time at the arrival gate. If you have short kids be aware some of the rides don’t measure them until you get to the start of ride, so you’ve queued for ages to be told they can’t go on. So check the height restrictions on each board before queuing, saves alot of tears!

Get your drinks as you actually enter the resturant and then find you table, then use the drinks to ’keep’ your table while you select food.
