Not that good
Room requires refurbishment - air conditioning did not work, bathroom uninviting with leaking toilet. Even on sixth floor excessive noise could be heard from hotel function rooms. Helpful reception staff and secure free car parking.

Would stay there again
Very convenient to many attractions - staff extremely helpful and courteous. My ’double room’ had a 3’ but comfortable bed! Lovely food. Very good value. More than satisfied.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
When you arrive at Palermo Airport do not be affraid to take the Aerporto Bus to the main bus station and get a taxi from there to the hotel - the cost will be about one tenth as compared to a taxi all the way

Not to be missed
Holiday dates 30/4/07 to 7/5/07:- I would highly recommend this hotel.The reception staff are very friendly,professional and speak very good English.The rooms are basic but very clean.The restaurant is open each night(except Tuesday) and serves a very good set menu(2 courses).The centre of Palermo and some of the sights of interest(Palazzo dei Normanni,The Cathedral and Piazza Pretoria) are situated a 15 minute stroll away.The city is very easy to navigate and a local sight of interest is never very far away.The train and bus station is about a 20 minute walk away both the local bus service and the train service(and cheap) is a very good way of seeing other sights surrounding Palermo.I highly recommend a visit to Monreale,Cefalu and Trapani(spent a day in each).Sicily is a wonderful country to visit and the scenery is not to be missed.The people of Sicily are very friendly and they are very welcoming towards tourists.

Learning a little Italian before your visit goes a long way even if you try but don’t get it right people will always help you learn and practice your new found language skills.
