Great Location, Staff need a lesson in hospitality, beds terrible!
Great Location opposite beach and about 15 minute walk into Lagos! We had a car which was great as road not to safe to walk on in dark! Beds so uncomfortable, we slept on couch in lounge!! Staff could do with a lesson in hospitality! I think we had one smile in 4 days! Not very welcoming or friendly on arrival! Average hotel, clean rooms, if you can cope with beds! Pool nice and quiet and it was peak season. Overall ok, although could be better!

Good value accommodation
I have just returned from Dom Pedro Meia Praia having spent 5 nights there. The reception staff were very helpful, no waiting for keys, immediate access to my one bedroom apartment. The room had a wonderful view out over the sea. At first, having no car, I thought the apartments were a bit isolated and there was not proper footpaths to walk into Lagos, however, it turned out the local bus stopped outside every 40 minutes and for one euro you could travel right to the terminus if you wanted or just hop off in the centre of Lagos. Could have done with a kettle in the room but boiled water in a metal jug, which took a long time! Single beds, not very comfortable but you got used to them after a couple of nights. Could not get oven/grill in kitchen to work. Television could have had more channels. Overall, for what I paid for the 5 nights I felt I had got a bargain.
If you have no car I recommend getting a bus timetable as soon as you arrive. Also, no supermarket for about 1 mile to possible taxi back with shopping.

not a good place to stay out of season
A lovely view of the beach from the balcony. On sunny days its not a bad place to stay but in November when we went, although there was some heating in the lounge, it was pretty cold in the bedroom and in the bathroom. Not enough light in the lounge to read a book. Before paying for a superior room check what this actually is and that you actually get it. It was quite good value for money, but it might be best to pay a bit more elsewhere.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
You definitely need a car.
