It is good but not quiet
The hotel is good but not quiet, you can hear the neigoures talking since rooms are not independent.

A place to sleep
Located close to the bridge to Ottawa - can walk across, then a few blocks (about 15 minutes) to lots of restaurants, indoor malls, etc. The room was reasonable for the price. The immediate area in Gatineau is rather bland. Basically it was a place to sleep, and to get some work done using the wireless internet access. The place was fairly empty. The front desk staff were friendly.
Traveller's tip on shopping
It is worth walking across the bridge into Ottawa - nice views of the riverside. When you get into Ottawa, head to your right for a few blocks, then left again, and youre in a major commercial center. Fascinating architecture to look at.

In addition to my recent review, i want to add that the hotel floors are small and crampy. It gives a weired feeling.
