A great homely location
This sister hotel to the New Steine is slightly B&B in style but has really high quality rooms for the price that youll be paying for them. I had three really comfortable nights sleep and enjoyed my stay, especially as the location is a stones throw from the beach and a short walk from anything youd need.

Brighton Getaway!
I decided on Gullivers as a pretty decent place to stay. Its in a great part of Brighton. Traffic isnt bad and parking is cheap. The guest house itself is quite nice with some original artwork on the walls. Well decorated. The staff were great. Very friendly and happy to oblige. They allowed us an early check-in which was a real bonus. They were always happy and chirpy at breakfast. Its cleaned daily so theres rarely anything that gets missed. Its also in a location which although is close to the town centre, is far enough away from it to be nicely quiet.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
If youre going to park the car and forget about it, get parking tickets from reception. They cost five pounds and last 24hrs. Set the alarm on your watch though, or you might get caught out and forget youve got to replace the ticket... or buy two of course.

Great location great town
Stayed at hotel for two nights, welcoming and helpful staff from the start. Would stay here again, the complimentary breakfast was amazing and the location of hotel was perfect - parking (in whole of Brighton) was a nightmare though - but asking at hotel reception for a permit is the best way to park. Overall very happy and good value.
