Not cheap, but worth it.
Spectacular view of the caldera! This lovely hotel/resort is located on the Fira-Ia hiking path. Only drawback - for people of limited mobility or heart/lung problems - there are steps involved, usually quite a few, to go between your room and the office, the pool, the bar, the breakfast room. We had the "cave room" - very large, comfortable, and definitely unique. The staff was very friendly and helpful.Would go back there again, given the chance.

Great Location Great Food Not the best room quality
This hotel is located at an awesome location on the island. The views from the area near the pool are stunning and you never want to leave. However, I was not totally impressed with the quality of the rooms. The shower was mighty small and I have a better shower head at home in London then this 5 star place. The food, the drinks, the service etc are all in keeping with its star rating and the location.
