Good hotel for the money.
The hotel, on the whole, is excellent. We received a very warm greeting upon arrival and the room was very clean and well equipped with a hairdryer, mini bar, fan, LCD screen TV etc. The hotel also provides a free travel pass to use in Augsburg on the trams/buses for the duration of your stay, although everything central is accessible on foot. We didn’t have the breakfast buffet as there were cheaper places to eat in town so can’t comment on that. The only negatives are that it is so close to the station that you can hear station noise e.g. loudspeaker announcements if the windows are open and that there was a shower and no bath.

Hotel is close to public transportation. There is a fitness center attached to the hotel free to guest. Hours are not favorable to early mornings. Several eating establishments are nearby. Several tourist attractions are nearby. Staff is fluent in English and German. High speed connections are available.
