Beyond Expectations
This was the second time we had been to this hotel and it just keeps exeeding our expectations. The hotel, the staff, the location, the amenities are excellent. I almost fear saying this as they may not have vacancies for us next year!

Good hotel, indifferent service
The hotel is situated in the beautiful little village of Santa Cruz & offers great views of the bay. Stayed for a long weekend, the amenities are good, the restaurant is expensive, you get better value (and quality in some cases) in the village. Had to ask twice in 4 nights to have used towels replaced, & the TV service didn’t work for the last 3 nights of 4 despite assurances it would be repaired. Overall the quality & location of the hotel out weigh the service glitches.
Traveller's tip on dining
Two great little restaurants in the village by the church Bom Jesus offer excellent fayre & wine at really good prices - local fish too.
