VERY disappointed
On the contrary to all the raving reviews, it was a BIG disappointed. first of all the location sucks. It’s far from the main part of Marrakech, we had to cab it everywhere. it takes about 20 min to walk to the medina, IF youre lucky not to get lost. but we didn’t feel safe to walk back especially after enjoying the Djemaa el Fna at night. when we first arrived, we expectedly got scammed by this guy who volunteered to show us the way to the riad and asked for $. when we gave him $5, the riad staff basically asided with him and requested that we should pay him more and $5 is nothing. it that was very rude since we were supposed to be the guests there and she shouldve talked to the guy and sent him out when he was getting verbally aggressive towards us. the riad is in good condition, but with no personal touch, it was very much like a commercial hotel, and they charge you DAILY service fee PER PERSON when you check out. breakfast was very plain, with dry bread and tea. this was our second riad during our trip, and it was a big comparison to the other place we stayed at much cheaper price with great value. when we saw the tip box, we asked whether its for everyone or for the person at the front desk only, the guy i was talking to said, he doesnt trust the night shift staff, so we should give it to him right now, only to him? felt very scammy and unprofessional. he even stopped by our room before he left for the day to "check in". would not go back, and would not recommend.

Now allows alcoholic beverages
Other reviewers have commented very favourably on this delightful Riad and I could only echo what they have said. One point to add though is that the Riad now allows sale of alcoholic beverages and the availability of a bottle of wine with the excellent in-house dinner or a cold beer by the pool brings my rating to the very top!
Traveller's tip on dining
Eating is reasonably value and avoids all the hustlers on the street. Meals are simple but authentic and very good!

Loved it!
Great hotel!!!! Great service! Extremely nice people. Its a beautiful riad, especially at night. Dont forget that you can swim at this small swimming pool in the heart of riad. Riad is located in old medina which makes it really easy to get everywhere on foot.
Traveller's tip on nightlife
Djemma el Fna - is a place to see especially at night. You can eat, dance and enjoy. We met lots of tourist and all of them shared ideas where to go and what to see.
