Mixed Feelings

What I liked: The breakfast was included and it was excellent. They have a nice gym downstairs. They also have a computer with internet access that you can use for free. The room was clean. It’s close enough to walk to many of the attractions and there is access to the subway within steps of the hotel. What I didn’t like: We requested twin beds but were given two beds that were together twin on the top but we couldn’t separate them. It was uncomfortable since I was traveling with a friend/business associate. They have window boxes but they just have dirt no flowers. The have a fountain in the courtyard but it wasn’t working. The staff was courteous but a bit cold. We left a folder in the room with travel directions & reservation confirmations and it was thrown away by the cleaning staff. They did try to find it but couldn’t. They were helpful in trying to print new travel directions but it delayed our departure by an hour an a half.

Not very impressive from outside ,but excellent in every way.

Suprisingly small hotel but great in every other way.Staff were always willing and helpful. The room was very comfortable . Breakfast was very good with an extensive choice. We stayed 4 nights and did not find a fault.

Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay

It was about 5 mins walk to the underground station or to the tram ring and you could get to anywhere within say 15 mins. The 72 hour pass was worth every euro. From hotel to shopping centre was about 15 mins, and so well situated.

Would stay there again

Great location; close to "subway" and an excellent value for the price we received through Expedia. We would definitely stay here again. Food was excellent, staff very helpful, only downside was that our room faced the main street but traffic wasn’t bad during the night. Plus it had A/C!!!
