wonderful hotel
the staff and service ....excellent very nice location....across the street is the ocean with a nice walking path....priced right. If you are from Canada please take a small canadian Table flag....they have from all countries but not canada

Good place to stay. Lots of nice shops nearby and the Sea of Marmara 10 minute walk away. Rooftop swimming pool is relaxing; food is good

Good choice for exploring Istanbul
This is a pleasant hotel on the Marmara sea about a fifteen minute ferry ride from old Istanbul. The staff could not be nicer. The hotel is clean and comfortable, if a little eccentric in its choice of decor. The rooftop pool is small but charming and perfectly adequate given the nearness of the hotel to the sea. Take a ferry from Bostangi to visit the Princes Islands (30 minutes)and a ferry from Kadikoy to Eminonu to visit the tourist hot spots around Sultanahmet. We were very pleased not to be in the thick of Old Istanbul given the heat and loved the highly idiosyncratic ferries.
