Good location
This hotel was not the best that we stayed in but we did have excellent service and it was in a very good location for walking to many local attractions.

Great hotel, nice staff.
This hotel is modern and very typical 4 star standard.Our room was a nice size with tea and coffee facilities, fridge and nice big bathroom with a powerful shower. The pool was great to relax in after a day walking all over the city and the spa pool was heaven! We ordered room service a few times, reasonably priced and good standard. We never ate in the hotel restaurant although we had a drink in the downstairs bar which was really expensive 7 British pounds for a gin and tonic! The location is a 10min straight walk to the main shopping centre. Lots of big brand names, Starbucks, Mcdonalds and Pizza hut all there as well. You would think you were in any Western city in the world. We like walking about and felt very safe with no security issues at all. Recommend to stay in this hotel,staff could have not been any more friendly. Beijing is wonderful, can’t wait to go back.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
We organised a transfer from airport to the hotel. Our driver was excellent with perfect English.He offered to take us to the great wall for a fee, we agreed and it was the best decision. We paid him to take us to Matianyu to see the wall it is over 1 hour drive away,better than being stuck in a coach with other tourists.He also stopped off at the birds nest on the way back. Organise the transfer great value from the airport.Matianyu has the best views of the wall.

Exceeding Expectations
I was expecting a four star hotel when I checked in, but the service, the amenities, the restaurants are those of a five star hotel. Very pleasant experience.
