Best Island Experience anywhere

Boracay Hills is tucked away in a nice secluded neighborhood on the island. Only a quick 5 minute stroll from the beach or you can access the shopping/nightlife with a short 5 minute ride, transportation is incredibly accessible on the island. The hotel has a 5 star chef working in house and some incredible hospitality from the rest of the staff. They have a van for transport anywhere on the island. Probably the best catering in general from hotel staff I’ve ever experienced. Everything revolves around your schedule and each of the staff are very friendly. I would stay at this place each time I visit the island and wish they had establishments at other destinations as well. A great place for a single person to escape from reality and also and equally good experience for a couple looking for a romantic getaway. 5 star.

Traveller's tip on recreational activities

Definately try the ’island hopping’ snorkel tour

Looking Forward to My Next Trip

I had an excellent stay at Boracay Hills! When I first arrived, I discovered that my room had been upgraded. The room was so large! Boracay Hills is a smaller resort, but the intimacy is lovely. During my stay, I became close with some of the staff which was wonderful since I came as a single traveler. The staff is very friendly and willing to make your stay as comfortable as they can...plus they have a shuttle bus that takes you to the white beach!

Traveller's tip

*Make sure you have 750 pesos (per person) when you arrive at Manila’s airport and around 200-250 pesos (per person) at the airport in Caticlan. There is a fee you must pay before you can enter through Immigration.

Nice place to stay away from the beach

Stayed here in Feb’08. Owners and staff are all very nice and friendly. Not close enough to easily walk to the beach (you could if you really wanted to, but the road is not good for walking - lots of traffic and no sidewalk), but the hotel will give you a ride wherever you want to go (although you need to make your own way back). Getting around was never a problem. We liked the fact that it was away from the hustle and bustle of the beach, and the property is all fenced in, so you feel like you’re in a secluded area -- it’s a nice setting. The room was okay... a bit small and sparsely furnished, but clean and comfortable. Based on the quality of the room we felt it was a bit over-priced, but overall we really liked the hotel and would definitely stay here again.
