Excellent Value
I found the Fortuna Hotel to a be much more comfortable, appropriately furnished and well maintained hotel than I expected given the remarkable price. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful as well as fluent in English. The room, while not elaborate, had a comfortable bed and a modern and very clean bath. The hotel is across from the train station and so not not an ideal spot for holiday travel but a venue I highly recommend for the short term business traveler.

Decent Hotel
My partner and I stayed for one night and found the staff to be helpful and courteous for the most part, except for one who was neither. The hotel is in a good location, the room was equipped with everything we required and was dark enough and quiet enough for us to get a good night sleep. The breakfast was typical of most hotels, nothing extraoedinary.
Traveller's tip on dining
Go out of the hotel, turn left, walk past the pizzeria and the indian restaurant to the little italian restaurant on the corner, good food at good prices and very friendly staff.

Very convenient for railway station
The staff were helpful and polite. The room was clean and quiet with a nice bathroom. Our only problem was finding the hotel from the port. We arrived as foot passengers from Split about 10 pm and there was no one to ask directions. We had a map but it was dark and we couldn’t find road signs. It would be good if the hotel could offer a pick up service from the port. There were no taxis.
