Good hotel in a fantastic city
The hotel is in a great location, just a couple of minutes walk to the old town and about a 20 minute walk to the port. The rooms are quite small and simply furnished but are modern and very clean. There is air-con in the room and a TV. The bathroom is also small and has a shower but no bath. Towels were changed daily. We paid a little bit more for a view of the park and the old town which was very nice. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Public areas of the hotel are also very clean and smart. There is a PC with internet connection in the lobby and a coffee shop off the reception area. Breakfast is served in the restaurant in the railway station next door to the hotel. A walkway connects the two buildings so it isn’t necessary to go outside to reach the restaurant. The restaurant is clean and breakfast is good with both hot and cold food. Near the restaurant is a day spa. There is also a shop, an internet café and a travel agency in the station. I think the GoHotel Shnelli is a good hotel and represents good value for money.

Great hotel
Nice and clean. Right at the train station. A nice open market next to the hotel. You can shop for fruits, fish, bread, drinks and talk to locals.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
Ride trams or walk to the city center. Hotel is right next to the old city. On a major street which runs to the center or harbor.

I would go back but with some reservations
A convenient and functional hotel that was clean enough even thought the rooms were sparse and functional rather than decorative. I would go back but this is really a stopover type hotel for one or two nights. The room was comfortable enough but the shower room had a flat floor which flooded easily as the drainage was inadequate. Also we had to remind the staff about changing the towels on one occasion. A minor gripe is that I would have liked there to be tea or coffee making facilities in the room as after 9 pm every thing was closed. Also the range of food available at breakfast was rather limited.
Ok if not flashy. The price was good and the view over the railway station was good if you like railways (which I do). Convenient for the Old Town, and trains.
