Really good value and great hotel
It was close to everything and I would recommend it to anyone. We stayed there with 2 kids and it was very comfortable.

A Great Stay at the Hotel Rector
My wife and I spent a very enjoyable 2 days in Salamanca in early July 2007. A major part of this experience was staying in the Hotel Rector which is an outstanding hotel in many ways - excellent but discrete service and very high quality of accommodation. It is a relatively small hotel (we never saw more than a few other people at breakfast) and it has a quiet, peaceful feel which is ideal after a busy day seeing the sights in Salamanca. I would recommend it very highly indeed.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
The Rector is directly opposite the Art Deco / Art Nouveau Museum (Casa Lis) and is at the Southern boundary of the centre of Salamanca. It is in an ideal location to explore the main sights and is within easy reach of restaurants and cafes in the town centre.

comfortable quiet hotel in good location
Apart from a mix up with the hotel parking which was not handled very well we were happy with our choice.The hotel was a bit souless and didn’t do evening meals.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Visit San Estafan Monastery,the Cathedral,the Roman bridge and have lunch in the Plaza Mayor and watch the world go by.
