A Cool Breeze

It was an extremely pleasant stay. normally, I stay at another Resort, which is very nice! I must say, that this Resort was just as, or slightly better than that Resort. The staff was extremely attentive and the food was served with an upscale caribbean flair! I really have nothing to say negative about the service, style and cuisine. The only draw-back is that you can not exchange money at the hotel., which is available at other upscale Resorts. Also, please be careful with your credit cards and passport. There is plenty of under-handedness in the Dominican Republic. You will get taken and quickly!!!!!!!!

Good deal overall - Beach was highlight

My wife and I planned our vacation for this adults only resort for just that reason - no kids. The beach area was the best part of our trip. Since we went in August, the resort adjacent to Blue Bay was closed, therefore, the beach felt as if we were on a secluded island which was very nice. The resort was well maintained. The staff was accomodating and friendly. We would have preferred a variety in daily restaurant menus and a higher shelf level of alcohol. Food choices limited in availability. One drawback was the constant pestering of the staff trying to sell vacation packages or excursions and the local merchants selling trinkets on the beach.

Bring your own preferred alcohol for your room. There is a shopping plaza in walking distance where you can purchase alcohol and soda of your liking.

Loved it!

The hotel is really fun and laid back. The best part is the staff and entertainment. The shows are awesome and the animation crew really works hard to be sure you are having a good time. The food is delicious. Lot’s of vegetarian options. Easy place to relax and get away.
