Adequate for cheap
Motel has reasonable access to downtown area about 4 miles away. "Continental" breakfast is really not worth the time, primarily just semi-stale sweet rolls and coffee. Room air conditioner was better than none at all, but controls didnt work and unit was extremely noisy. We just wanted an inexpensive place to stay while attending an event at the Convention Center, and for that the place was adequate, and I would recommend it for similar purposes. However, it is not a "nice" place to stay. If your goal is cheap, stay there; if your goal is "nice", stay elsewhere.
Traveller's tip on dining
Less than a block away is Metro Pizza, which is actually a tiny but exceedingly good Italian restaurant run by Lorenzo, a young guy sho says he is from "Napoli". We ate there twice, first just because it was close after a 500 mile drive and the second time because the first time was so good. If I lived anywhere near this restaurant it would be one of my favorites.
