happy to recommend
Spent a two night city break at the hotel, very clean and modern. Good access into the city via bus routes (1 min) or metro (5 mins). Breakfast buffet included in the deal otherwise normally 14 euros a head which is steep. Bar prices typical hotel but good bar directly across the road. Could do with tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Happy to recoomend

get a valencia city travel card. unlimited travel on buses and metro and scores of discounts at restaurants, shops and attractions. DON’T GO ON A MONDAY AS MOST THINGS CLOSED

Very Impressed
There is nothing negative I could say about my experience of the Solvasa Valencia Hotel. I arrived in the early hours of the morning to a warm reception and luckily, as my Spanish is not great, English speaking staff. The room we were given was immaculate and spacious. There was a seating area in the room which was a welcome bonus to the basic facilities we expected. Breakfast was a buffet which had a wide variety of items. I would definately return to this hotel. The hotel in itself was perfect. If it was a lttle closer to the old town it would be easier on the legs but this did not detract from my experience of Slovasa Valencia.

A bit out of the way
The hotel was a bit out of the way for exploring the old town, and for bars and restuarants, but pretty good for the City of Science, the port and the beach area. Even though it was situated on a busy road, there wasn’t a problem with traffic noise, the rooms were comfortable and the staff were very helpful. As the transport system is very good, getting to and from the old town isn’t a problem, but I would recommend staying near the Cathedral if possible.
