Best Night Sleep!
I love, love, love the comfortable bedding, the rooms are very modern and have all of the luxuries of home and the fact that you can get freshly brewed Starbucks coffee round the clock was awesome! The free morning breakfast wasnt just a bunch of stale donuts and danish, it was freshly made eggs, custom-made omlets, crispy potatoes and yummy sausage. My husband served breakfast in bed EVERY day! I love this hotel and it is my #1 choice for any area I plan on staying in!
You definitely need to see Bear Mountain. Sleepy Hollow is not too far and DEFINITELY worth the trip! What a cute town and especially during Halloween. Go see the Blaze and take any Haunted Hayride (weather permitting). The cemeteries are neat just before they close. There is a Mexican restaurant right near there Casa Maya(?) OMG! Love the food and ambience. If you cant get into that one there is one not too far away up the road about 20 minutes. Also, if you are coming from South Jersey or more south, the BEST way to go is to avoid NYC altogether. I always take the NJ Turnpike to the Garden State Parkway North....follow that directly to the Palisades Parkway. It is the shortest, most direct way with little to no traffic (except around the Oranges). Just be careful with signage and make sure when the Garden State Parkway splits....I think it says you are on like I-87....make sure you head toward the NYC Thru-Way but get right off at EXIT 13....do not miss it or you will go over the Tappan Zee. Do not get off in Nanuet but if you do you can get right back on...you are only on I-87 for literally a minute. Youll do fine just keep your eyes open. Once on the Palisades Pkwy. head toward Bear Mountain and Bear Mountain Bridge. You get off at the exit and go around one circle/roundabout and thru a small toll. Make a right after crossing the bridge and head down the mountain. You will go around another circle/roundabout. Take the Fishkill exit. The scenery is fantastic and it really is the quickest way to the Hotel.

Brilliant Hotel
This hotel was great and We would certainly recommend it. The breakfast was an added bonus, staff very helpful. Our stay was only for one night, we were travelling from NY to New England and our stay at the Sierra was a stop over. We would certainly stay here again. Mature couple
