Modern hotel
The hotel staff were very helpful, and we enjoyed our upgraded room. The hotel was easy to get to off the hiway. The morning breakfast buffet was 5 star and we enjoyed it for the week we were there....However, we traveled with our 9 year old from California and was very disappointed to be told that no one under 16 years old may use the pools. Also, there was no coffee maker in the room and to get a coffee or tea, you had to pay 3 euros for one to be brought to your room or get a very small cup of coffee in the lobby for one euro.
Traveller's tip on recreational activities
Local family outings include Pfander trip up the mountain (in Bregenz), the public pool in Bregenz, the iNatura museum in Dornbirn, the Red House restaurant in Dornbirn downtown square, Meersburg thermal pools (in Germany Bodensee), and Spieleland (in Ravensburg, Germany). Leave extra time to cross Austrian/Germany border since the 4 mile tunnel is now only 1 lane each direction due to contruction and can get very congested.

Convenient, close to motorway and dornbrin town
We arrived on a Sunday so the hotel was very very quiet, but that sutited us. Room was very elegant and clean. Location is good if you are travelling between Swiss and Austria as it is very near the motorway

Lake Constance is not too far. Dornbirn town has some nice places to eat
