WELL iMPRESSED
The Hotel Lifeclass Riviera lived up to its four stars.We stayed on a B & B basis and the buffet breakfasts were very good.It has a great position on the esplanade and has very good facilities..spa pool (indoors), outdoor heated pool and terrace area.Portoroz is not for the 18 to 30,s but is good for family and couples with plenty of good restaurants,bars and cooffee bars

A good place to stay
The hotel was nice and clean, conveniently situated in the centre of town with easy access to the beach and restaurants. Breakfast in the hotel was great, we didn’t use the hotel restaurant for dinners though as we were sampling the local cuisine. Our room had a sea view, but was situated above the casino and nightclub, so a little noisy on the Saturday night
Most restauarnts serve good food - pizza recommended. The ice cream parlours are all excellent!

6 hotels - all called LifeClass
I stayed in the Hotel Slovenia - part of the six hotels all under the LifeClass umbrella. Other hotels include the Grand Hotel and Hotel Riviera. The hotels are all in the centre of town and share use of the pools and the beach facilities. Most of the rooms in Hotel Slovenia have a balcony over looking the sea. The room was small and furnishings a little out of date but it was clean and comfortable, with a flat screen television and large balcony. The spa pools have jets and a jacuzzi. Bring a beach towl or you can rent one from the hotel for 2 Euros. The hotel also offer spa options including massages on the beach (although I didn’t try this!).
Traveller's tip on recreational activities
There’s not much else at the resort but beachside restaurants and jewellery stalls. There’s also no sand at the beach - just sun loungers and steps down into the water. But a nice place to relax. Plenty of families enjoying the sunshine when I was there.
