Romantic Hideaway in Tenerife

My wife and I have have just returned from an amazing week away from it all in the middle of Costa Adeje. La Plantaccion sits all alone at the top of a steep hill overlooking the bay. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, and did everything they could to make us feel like welcome guests rather than inconvenient visitors as is the case with some 5* hotels. Our junior suite was enormous and well appointed with superb sea views. If you want to just fly and flop, this is the place. Highly recommended

Ideal Hotel to stay on the Costa Adeje

This is an ideal Hotel if you want to be close enough to the Beach and the attractions but also far enough so you can relax by one of the four pools. Service was exceptional! and the Hotel lives up to its rating. I choose this hotel because it had a Kids clib, which allowed me time to relax by myself. The Kids club has 3 sessions a day and these session are varied daily, so there would be something that your child can do durng your stay. For Breakfast is a vast selection of Spanisj/continental foods to choose from. There is also a Hot plate which will make ommeltes and crepes to order. Breakfast was part of our holiday. You can choose to eat in the Hotel in the evening. Again a vast selection, but this is expensive , so if you are not going to venture out much i would see about included the evening meal in your holiday. Very nice hotel staff and service excellent. Will go again.

Traveller's tip on local attractions

A must is a visit to the Sian Water Park. The biggest wave machine in the world. Will not disappoint.

A class act and difficult to find fault with - not cheap but food and service are superb

The hotel is spacious, luxurious and a haven of calm. Staff are very attentive and eager to please. Light sleepers should avoid rooms 17 & 19 (adjacent to a lift, above the kitchen and quite noisy). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would go again - the breakfast buffet is a feast - whilst the dinner buffet might seem expensive - for what you get it’s actually good value for Costa Adeje. The hotel is located in a smart quiet residential spot atop a hill overlooking the posh end of Las Americas - 10min walk to the strip and amenities but far enough away from the crowds for much needed privacy. Overall, highly recommended.

Traveller's tip on recreational activities

If you need to watch the football - pop down the hill, take the 1st road on the left and walk down to the basement bar OC’s. Run by a Scottish couple, they show all the UK matches (Sky/Setanta) and do decent English pub grub.
