A wonderful hotel to escape from it all !
My partner and I have just returned from a week at The Marmara. We had a fabulous time. The hotel is immaculate. It is very clean throughout and the grounds are superb; from the pool area to the gardens to the private beach. The staff are friendly and attentive and the food is excellent, with a wide range of cold salad foods to hot meats, vegetables, potatoes and rice. The only minor downside is that the hotel is a little way from the main town centre and shops. We took a taxi which cost around 5 Turkish Lira each way.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Head to the harbour and take a boat trip along the coast. Don’t be afraid to haggle the price down. The Antayla Museum is also worth a visit. It costs 15 Turkish Lira to get in, but there is plenty to see, including a room devoted to the Gods and Goddesses. You might also enjoy the cooling air con if it’s too hot outside !!

Comfort Style and Service
Not my first stay but it was just as good as the last time. Room service was very speedy. The oly thing that marred the trip was that a rude group os sales men on a conference all lit up after brakfast and stunk the dining area and me uot but the hotel cannot be held responsible for a load of ill mannered louts. The air con got rid of the smell very quickly
Very conveniently located for the airport and shopping.

Very nice place
I liked this place very much. Will come back again. The beach is very interesting. (I just did’nt like the food. They may have to hire new chief)
