Superb position
We changed our reservation to the Salo du Parc from another Hotel tthat we already had on hold. This was due to the special offers which made it more affordable for us, we were really pleases that we did. The Hotel is in a superb position , the only one that appers to be right on the lake. Our room was a little dated but always spotlessley clean , the huge balcony with stunning lake views certainly made up for it. We only stayed on B&B as we like to eat out locally, the dinner menu looked good if not a little expensive at 30 euros but his was for 4 courses which we wouldn’t have managed to get through. The breakfast buffet did not vary during our 12 night stay but was adequate for our needs. The bar area did not have much atmosphere and the drinks very expensive so we didnt bother with that facility (neither did many others during our stay) The staff were very pleasant and helpful especially one young lad on reception. The pool area was always kept clean and tidy and was not busy during our stay in spite of average temperatures of 27 degrees.Overall we had a really enjoyable stay .
Two of our favourite restaurants were IL MOLLO and TIP TAP. Favourite bar "Once upon a time" great Aperol Spritz and lovely nibbles.

Excelent hotel - and the staff are so pleasant and helpful. One of the most relaxing holidays we have had. Everything was perfect. Will definitely go back. Robin & Debra
Traveller's tip on dining
So many excelent resturants with stunning views to chose from along the water front . All serving great food and good value for money. We arranged our own day trips on the ferry boats and local coaches to see other ports, they were all lovely.

Hotel Salo du Parc
Extremely convenient and well locatated. The hotel is very comfortable and the lake views fantastic. The bed actually faces the alke so you great great morning views. The decor is slightly tired with heavy wood panels but the service super and the pool a real bonus. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. It is in a great position to walk into the town and Salo is lovely. Loads of restaurants and cafes and feels slightly upmarket to some of the other towns. I would go again.
