Another fantastic time in Madrid

Lovely modern boutique hotel. This chain of hotels very reliable.Have stopped in other areas before.Room only sufficient. Hotels position off Plaza Santa Ana is the best yet.Away from the Plaza are some excellent restaurants serving"Menu del Dia" with a drink for 12 Euros.Makes a change from the usual Tourist places as homecooked and does not burn a hole in the pocket !!!

Metro excellent .Walk and explore i find the best. The Madrid Vision Bus helps on first visit.

Stylish on the surface

Check-in was smooth, staff are fluent in English. Hotel lobby looks very boutique. Rooms share similar style, but underlying materials and build quality below par considering the price. Bed creaks, wook panels feel cheap and remote for TV missing. The slot to insert keycard to power the room failed the first time but worked subsequently. Bathroom similarly looks very stylish and contemporary except for bathtub/shower. Generous with shower gel/shampoo etc which were of high quality. Best thing about the hotel aside from the interior design was the breakfast, which included many varieties of Spanish ham, hot buffet, many different pastries, yoghurt, bottled drinks etc. Staff were efficient, and there was a particularly friendly Romanian waitress. A word of warning... the hotel advertises a pillow menu, but when ordering this, the front desk said that they didnt have any pillows available. Plus, there is no room service between lunch and dinner. Overall, the hotel looks contemporary and sexy, and staff are friendly and helpful. The build quality was disappointing, bed uncomforatble and some services advertised were not available. However, the location alone is worth the stay.

Small Rooms, but Great Location and Excellent Hotel Service

GREAT LOCATION! The hotel location was only a short walk to Plaza Mayor - a buzzing square with restaurants and shops - and to Retiro Park and the train. The rooms were very small, but trendy and cute. Each time I called the front desk they were very helpful with directions, reservations for the train and restaurants.
