Restful and indulgent
We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed the atmosphere and pampering at this hotel. It has some lovely outside spaces, and it was slightly out of season, which perhaps explains why there was always room around the pool, on the numerous terraces and around the bar. Having read previous reviews we were slightly concerned about the out of town location, but in fact, we enjoyed the 15 min walk (no problem if you’re vaguely fit) and the other benefit was the peace at the hotel late at night and in the morning, unlike in Cefalu itself. The deluxe room was nice - maybe a little small and the bathroom a little tired for a 4 star hotel, but nothing major. The staff were charming and the breakfasts fun. If you want to use the private beach, make sure you ask for specific directions - it’s not well-marked, so we walked up and down the promenade a few times without ever finding it!

Beautiful property and great staff service
The hotel is set on a hill overlooking Cefalu bay and views from our room were stunning. We were upgraded on arrival to a Junior suite. Staff in all areas were so helpful and polite. Food in the hotel was great, particularly breakfast. We did not try the main restaurant as the hotel was very quiet. The hotel provide a bus shuttle to and from the town and beach which is great if you don’t fancy the walk back up the hill. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay in this beautiful property.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Make sure you prepare yourself for all the food on offer as there are so many great and reasonable restaurants in Cefalu town. I particularly recommend those with tables right on the water’s edge. Stunning dining experience.

Visited First Week of October 2009
I stayed at the Hotel Alberi del Paradiso with my girlfriend the first week of October 2009. We had a great time in Cefalu and really enjoyed our stay in the hotel. The front desk staff was great, our room was very nice - top floor, corner room with fabulous views of the town of Cefalu, the ocean, and La Rocca. The hotel is about 1 mile uphill from the town center, so is a lengthy walk, but the hotel runs a shuttle bus roughly every hour that makes a drop at the town center or their private section of the main beach. We used the shuttle on numerous occasions and it worked great. The hotel also has very nice grounds, including a tennis court, swimming pool, and nicely landscaped areas. We only had breakfast in the hotel, and that was very good as well with first class service. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone.
